Eligibility criteria for free legal assistance, the application process and our commitment to social responsibility.
Why Pro Bono
We consider access to justice a fundamental right. Over 450 hours of free legal assistance per year for:
- Individuals without financial resources
- Victims of domestic violence
- NGOs without a legal budget
- Cases of social impact (environment, human rights)
Eligibility criteria
Individuals
- Net income below RON 1,500 per family member
- The case must not be obviously unfounded
- No alternative legal insurance must exist
NGOs
- Legally registered in Romania
- Demonstrable public interest activity
- Specific project (not general advisory)
How to apply
Dedicated online form (5–7 fields), situation description, supporting documents. Response within 5 business days.
What we cover
Initial assistance + procedural document drafting + court representation (selectively, subject to capacity). We do not normally cover court fees, but we can assist with obtaining the statutory legal aid exemptions.
